Ngor Island is a small pedestrian island just off the northern coast of Dakar. It’s so close, you can see it from Ngor Beach and it takes just a few minutes by boat to arrive. You can explore the island on foot in around an hour, and then have lunch at one of the restaurants on the beach. If you’re feeling more adventurous, there are also a couple surf camps on the island.
